Googles line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Googles partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Googles newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
Cross-Google in the role title means that you ll look across all Google products to bring into your partnership discussions, as opposed to focusing on a single or a few product areas only. You will bring the best of Google to Venture Capital (VC) firms, with a long-term view of success for their portfolio companies. Through your partner management work, you will proactively help VCs by being trusted and knowledgeable advisors for their startups (e.g., advising on business topics, Google product topics, and navigating the broad Google organization) to drive effective partnerships. You will be the centralized Point of Contact (POC) for your VC partners but you can count on many Google teams in the background to support your partnership work.
