Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Ability to work independently, or with the cross-functional life cycle engineering and new product development to produce detailed engineering documents and project deliverables.
Strong 3D CAD working knowledge of NX preferred.
Strong proficiency on AutoCAD mechanical.
Strong written and spoken communication skills required to be effective with internal and external customers.
Thorough knowledge of drafting standards, symbols, nomenclature, engineering terms, bills of materials, proper use of material, GD&T, and engineering reference books and catalogs.
Experience assisting in preparing detailed documents for projects that support the design, cost, bill of materials, and project timetables.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
Team center & SAP experience is also a plus.
Knowledge of conventional and non-conventional manufacturing processes is a plus.
Project management experience is a plus.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3 - 5 years 3D CAD design experience, preferably with complex mechanical components along with Sheetmetal, Casting design and machining.
