Job Title:
Pastry Chef Responsibilities: Manage and operate the pastry section of the kitchen, collaborating with executive and sous chefs.
Prepare ingredients and utilize baking and kitchen equipment efficiently. Create pastries, baked goods, and confections following set recipes. Develop new recipes for seasonal menus and special occasions. Decorate pastries and desserts for appealing presentation. Meet with customers to plan custom-made desserts for events like weddings.
Monitor baking ingredient stock and order supplies within budget. Ensure kitchen section adheres to safety and health regulations. Supervise and train staff members as required.
