Role & responsibilities

Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem-solving.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Design & Deploy strategies relating to the recruitment, development, engagement, and general HR practices / policies for employees in the area of responsibility and/or stakeholder group.
  • Anchor HR initiatives for the assigned team, in line with Business objectives, HR calendar, in close consultation with HR, business & client leadership. This includes but is not limited to Engagement, Sustainability initiatives, Communication, Employee Surveys, Focus groups, Learning & Development plans, etc.
  • Institutionalise Talent Management : Define Critical Roles and ensure role incumbent is high performing and highly engaged. Quarterly review of progress on same.
  • Support a High Performance Culture : Performance reviews including feedback and course correction
  • Anchor Employee Cost management in line with business, employee and future needs
  • Ensure that all employees are mapped to the correct NTTJF jobs, to continuously align to the NTT job framework and drive effective employee metrics.
  • Be a consultative business partner to the assigned stakeholder group, to advise them of trends in HR practices, the labour market, and general developments that could impact the human resources in the area of responsibility.
  • Bring subject matter expertise by using data for analysis and trend establishment to understand performance and productivity drivers in the relevant employee base.
  • Actively contribute to the growth and success of the business in the designated stakeholder group.

  • Conceptual clarity & strategic thinking as HR Business Partner Talent Management, Employee Engagement & Development, HR Metrics, Other areas of Partnering
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs, similar to NTT will be an advantage

  • Strong stakeholder /client engagement and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations, multi-tasker
  • Establish and manage processes and practices with a stickler for deadlines
  • Cross functional Collaboration

Good understanding and knowledge of Indian labour legislation and practices


Preferred candidate profile

  • Demonstrable 8 15 years experience working as an HR Business Partner in a global organization
  • Demonstrated experience in working closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at different levels in the business
  • Proficient in HR technologies including experience in HRIS, LMS, e-Recruitment, and Payroll systems
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
