Job Description
Role & responsibilities
As the Remote IT Infrastructure Practice Head, you will be responsible for leading and managing our remote infrastructure practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. You will oversee a team of remote IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to drive excellence in service delivery. This role requires strong leadership skills, deep technical knowledge, and a passion for driving innovation in remote IT infrastructure solutions.
Leadership and Management:
Provide strategic direction and leadership for the remote IT infrastructure practice.
- Build and manage a high-performing team of remote IT professionals, including engineers, architects, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Service Delivery:
- Coaching team for successful delivery of remote IT infrastructure services to clients, meeting, or exceeding service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and implement best practices, processes, and methodologies to optimize service delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze service performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Technical Expertise:
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in remote IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, assisting with complex problem resolution and solution design.
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure alignment of remote infrastructure solutions with overall business objectives.
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on remote IT infrastructure matters.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify opportunities for expanding our remote infrastructure practice and driving revenue growth.
- Act as a point of escalation for client issues and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Bachelor"s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on remote infrastructure solutions.
- Proven track record of leadership and management in a technical environment, including experience leading remote or distributed teams.
- Deep technical expertise in areas such as cloud computing, virtualization, networking, security, and IT operations.
- Strong understanding of industry best practices, standards, and frameworks related to IT infrastructure management (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, ISO 20000).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, team members, and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, VMware Certified Professional, Cisco Certified Network Associate) are a plus.
