Job Summary We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Associate in the Accounts & Finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions and activities adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards. Department: Finance & Accounts Job Type: FullTime (Work from Office) Location: Ahmedabad Reporting to Manager - Compliance Experience - 1 to 2 years ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct regular audits of financial records, transactions, and processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Identify any potential compliance issues or discrepancies and work closely with the Compliance Manager to develop and implement effective solutions. Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, or areas for improvement in compliance procedures. Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls. and procedures to mitigate compliance risks and enhance the efficiency of financial operations. Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance and Legal, to address compliance-related inquiries and provide support as needed. Preparation and filing of GST & TDS/TCS returns, alongside meticulous reconciliation processes including Input Tax Credit Reconciliation Stay informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance and recommend adjustments to policies and procedures as necessary. Prepare and maintain documentation related to compliance activities, including audit reports, risk assessments, and compliance training materials. Support the Compliance Manager in conducting investigations into potential compliance violations and implementing corrective actions as needed. Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives related to compliance, as assigned by the Compliance Manager or senior management. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or compliance roles. Strong understanding and knowledge of financial regulations, GST, TDS, TCS etc. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications. High level of integrity and ethical conduct
