Job Description

Responsibilities: Design and Development: Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software to design and develop architectural plans, drawings, and models, ensuring alignment with project objectives and specifications. Conceptualization: Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders from project inception to develop innovative and functional design concepts. Detailed Drawings: Create comprehensive architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, adhering to industry standards and best practices. Building Information Modeling (BIM): Employ Revit to develop BIM models that encompass architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) components, facilitating seamless coordination and integration. Revit Management: Establish and maintain Revit families, templates, and standards to optimize workflow efficiency and ensure consistency across projects. Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks and reviews of. drawings and models to uphold accuracy, adherence to design standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, fostering synergy and coherence in project execution. Continual Learning and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, software updates, and industry trends related to AutoCAD, Revit, and architectural design, actively seeking opportunities for professional development and process enhancement. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on architectural design and technology. Proven track record as an AutoCAD and Revit architect or drafter, demonstrating proficiency in both software platforms and a portfolio showcasing diverse project experience. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software, with demonstrated expertise in 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization techniques. Comprehensive understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability practices, integrating them effectively into design solutions. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic project requirements. Skills: AutoCAD: Proficient in generating precise and detailed architectural drawings, leveraging a wide range of drafting and annotation tools. Revit: Experienced in developing complex BIM models, managing project information, and coordinating architectural elements within the broader context of building systems. 3D Modeling: Skilled in creating photorealistic 3D models and renderings, utilizing advanced rendering techniques and material applications to communicate design intent effectively. Collaboration: Effective teamwork and coordination with project stakeholders, fostering open communication channels and ensuring alignment with project objectives throughout the design process. Preferred: Autodesk Certified Professional (AutoCAD or Revit), demonstrating a commitment to excellence and proficiency in respective software platforms
