Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers, users, and internal stakeholders PHP-based applications, resolving issues, answering queries, and troubleshooting problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues reported by users or detected through monitoring systems, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions or workarounds to resolve technical problems.
- Bug Fixing: Investigate and resolve bugs and defects in Python and PHP applications with Laravel framework, analyzing code, logs, and database queries to identify issues, and implementing fixes or patches to address them.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor application performance metrics and logs to detect performance bottlenecks, system errors, and other issues affecting application performance, and take proactive measures to optimize performance and ensure reliability.
- Scripting and Automation: Write scripts and automation tools using Python and PHP to streamline support workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve operational efficiency in areas such as issue triaging, log analysis, and deployment.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document support processes, troubleshooting procedures, and solutions in knowledge base articles, FAQs, and internal documentation, and share knowledge and expertise with team members through training sessions and collaboration tools.
- Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to provide updates on issue resolution progress, gather additional information as needed, and ensure customer satisfaction and confidence in support services.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, tool enhancement, and automation optimization to increase efficiency, reduce response times, and improve overall support quality and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in PHP programming languages, with experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining Python and PHP-based applications and scripts.
- Solid understanding of web development concepts, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript,Vue js and server-side scripting with PHP, and experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, Laravel, or Symfony.
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging techniques, including analyzing logs, stack traces, and database queries, and using debugging tools and utilities to diagnose and resolve software issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, with a customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical users and stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
