Narayana Hrudayalaya Foundations has come a very long way with one batch of nursing students in 2001 and now has three institutes which deliver outstanding healthcare professionals in the area of Nursing, Allied Health Sciences and Physiotherapy. A brief on the Institutes: Narayana Hrudayalaya School & College of Nursing: The institute started in 2001 with General Nursing Midwifery course, followed by B.Sc (Nursing) in the year 2003. Followed by M.Sc (Nursing) in 2008 & P.B.B.Sc (Nursing) in 2009. The institute is also a Study Centre of IGNOU for P.B.B.Sc (Nursing) programme offered to working Nurses from across the country. With a total of 4 courses, the institute offers excellent facilities & the students are exposed to world class clinical areas during their course. All the courses are affiliated to the respective governing bodies i.e., Indian Nursing Council. Karnataka Nursing Council, Karnataka State Diploma Nursing Examination Board & Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Allied Health Sciences: The institute started functioning with a one batch of B.Sc Perfusion Technology students from the academic year 2002-03 and Diploma course in the subsequent year. Now the institute is functioning with a total of 17 courses (3 Post Graduate, 10 Under Graduate & 4 Diploma), which are the most seeked for amongst the students. All the PG & UG courses are affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and Diploma courses to Karnataka Paramedical Board. Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Physiotherapy: NHIP started a humble beginning from 2010 with a students strength of 8 in Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT). Now the institute has grown leaps and bounds with a present strength of 40 students in BPT each year. Masters of Physiotherapy (MPT) commenced from Academic Year 2017-18 with specialisations such as Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy, Neurological & Psychosomatic Disorders, Cardiorespiratory Disorders, Community Physiotherapy Paediatrics) with 5 seats.
