Job Description Business Analyst/Product Owner

Duties

Work with one or more Product Managers to define and set sprint goals

Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap

Groom and prioritize backlog

Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria

Write acceptance tests and participate in the Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) process

Work with Product Managers and Project Managers to plan timing for releases and upgrades

Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints

Analyze preferences and requests of stakeholders

Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback

Keep track of industry trends

Seek to constantly deliver high quality software

Continuously explore, understand, and drive usage of latest technologies and processes that can extend the capabilities of Colibrium

Employ and contribute to the continuous improvement of Colibrium SDLC methodology, project standards and process to ensure software development best practices

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Understanding of common health Insurance business processes/USA Healthcare (Benefit Management) Domain knowledge

A strong internal drive for pursuing continuous improvement

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field

1-2 years of experience with C#, SQL Server, and web technologies is preferred

5-10 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or Product Owner

2 or more years of working as a Product Owner in an Agile environment

Demonstrated ability to break down ambiguous, complex problems and create high-quality, innovative, and clean solutions

Organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities

Critical analysis and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and quality

Action oriented and a team player with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic organization

Experience in providing mentorship for other Product Owners and scrum team members is a plus

Business Analyst Certification is a plus
