Job Description

We are a UK based company with an office/team in Kolkata (we have had a small team in Kolkata for 8 years now).

For this role we are happy to consider Vue.js developers on a full or part time basis, based in Kolkata or anywhere in India. Our team has always had the flexibility to work from home and our office is currently closed due to Covid-19 so location is becoming less important.

The team is currently working on a new SaaS application, where businesses will be signing up and using the application to manage all aspects of their business their.

For you to be working on this exciting and challenging transitioning period for the business and building this new platform the only things you need is to have a good experience coding in VueJS, Vuetify, JavaScript, API'S, HTML, CSS, and great passion for technology and to expand your knowledge.

The ability to write efficient, performance, secure, well-documented, clean and maintainable JavaScript code is key to this role. 

Candidates should have personal projects demonstrating:
  • Developing user-facing applications using Vue.js and the surrounding ecosystem.
  • Experience showing structuring mid-to-large scale JavaScript projects.
  • Experience of consuming APIs in Vue.js
Candidates should have the following experience:
  • Design software solutions according to best practices.
  • Estimate and document software design for features / modules.
  • Implement secure solutions, hardened against current understood and recognised web threats
  • Work as part of a team to deliver solutions to agreed requirements, standards and timescales.
  • Be accountable for your own work as part of the team performance, independently communicating with colleagues to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, as necessary.
  • Be responsible for your own professional development needs, in discussion with Team Lead.
