Job Description

• Support the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements
• Develops test plans, test schedule, and approach
• Writes test cases and scripts and identifies data for test scenarios
• Conducts a walk through on test casescript with Requirement Leads, Project Managers, and Development Leads
• Performs tests of software andor IT systems to ensure proper operation and free of defects
• Performs verification activities on work products using defined methods, procedures and criteria with an appropriate verification environment
• Documents and communicates test results. Supports analysis of test results and resolution of open issues
• Reports progress on problem resolution to management

Qualifications

• 
  Technical Experience Required for this role:
  SOAPUI, SQLOracle, Qtest, Jira, HP ALM, Handheld devices (Android, IOS, Windows), Web Applications
• Key Success to this role
• 1+ Years of experience in Manual Testing
• Should have good communication skills to communicate with development and other teams
• Strong knowledge of Testing fundamental, Bug life cycle, SDLC, STLC, Smoke testing, Sanity testing, Regression testing, and other types of testing
• Knowledge of Software QA methodologies and defect management tools
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Hands-on experience in writing test cases for complex projects, test data preparation and test execution
• Identifying regression test cases from the existing pool of functional test cases or create them if they are not available
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Hands-on experience on testing Web & Mobile(Android & iOS) NativeHybrid apps
• Should have experience in tools for reporting bugs JIRA
• Experience in qTest and HP ALM is good to have
• Understand business requirements and break them into scenarios and test cases
• Prepare bug and test summary reports for key stakeholders
• Should have hands-on experience in API testing
• Hands on experience in testing applications for cross-browser testing
