Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis, to provide timely and meaningful feedback, by reviewing the business and technical documents
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test scenarios, in order to make sure that all application areas are covered in his testing, by reviewing the business and technical documents
- Execute test scenarios, to assure that the business requirements match the developed service, based on the written cases before.
- Report bugs and errors, in order to show the inconsistency between the business requirements and what is implemented, by using the defect report sheet/Jira
- Report execution status, based on the project he should give latest status of execution progress to his leader, in order to know overall project status and see clearly if we have any risk regarding delivery deadline.
- Responsible for ensuring the commitment of predefined testing schedules, and raising any expected risk ahead, in order not to impact business / project plan.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in technical engineering, computer science, business management, or in other similar course
- 2 years minimum in software testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Bilingual in English and Arabic preferred)
- Great interpersonal skills
- Service-oriented mentality
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, work accurately, work under pressure, and respond quickly to tight deadlines
- Positive Attitude and Self-Starter Mentality
- Detail Oriented
- Function effectively as a team player
- Equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered
- Desired Skills:
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and test cases
- Hands-on experience with black box testing, and white box testing is plus.
- Mobile and automation knowledge is plus.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- ISTQB foundation Certificate is preferred
