Job Description

Knowledge of various tools used in Product Configuration Management (or similar field) or ability/eagerness to learn the same.

Proficiency in Written English

A good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle ( SDLC )

Ability to learn new tools and adapt

Process oriented thinking

Exposure to Agile ways of working

Good communication and coordination skills with various stake-holders

A good knowledge on software tools, 3pp & FOSS is an added advantage

A good knowledge in EXCEL, MS word and Power Point.

Exposure to software build related activities is an advantage

Release handling exposure an advantage ( for e.g., Delivery / release note preparation for software deliveries and / or build related activities )

Job Responsibilities

Establish and execute a plan to manage software products and related documentation through the software product lifecycle.

Use of standard processes, procedures, tools as well as third party tools, where applicable for carrying out the assigned functions.

Structure and control the content of the product archives, during the software lifecycle.

Responsibility towards product release and correction note handling

Will be responsible for the configuration management of our products, projects and software.

Will have to prepare the configuration management plans and execute/coordinate all configuration management activities within our software development projects.

Will have to closely work with the project manager and product owners and technical architects in the project.
