You will manage, control, protect and coordinate licenses throughout all stages of its lifecycle - acquisition, deployment, maintenance, utilization, and disposal.
You will ensure that all IT assets are accounted for within the organization at all times.
You will manage, develop and continuously improve ITAM processes in order to improve customer experience, enhance productivity, minimize liability and achieve savings.
You will communicate to IT management, leaders and operational teams ITAM information needed for informed decision making.
You will Interface with procurement, vendor, finance, legal and compliance managers to maintain and improve coordinated processes.
You will maintain a comprehensive understanding of the industry's current best practices and established standards.
You will ensure that processes are in place for maximizing unused, or partially used, IT assets to achieve full efficiency.
You will manage, develop and professionally lead a team of IT asset professionals and leaders.
You will define strategic ITAM goals, targets and KPIs that result in helping to achieve the overall corporate and divisional goals.
You will ensure that all required hardware and software information is entered into an ITAM repository, and ensure that information is up-to-date, accurate, and auditable.
You will ensure that tools and processes are in place to understand the company's effective licensing position at all times.
You will ensure complete and accurate migration and implementation of ITAM process and documentation for mergers and acquisitions.
Solid knowledge of inventory asset tracking and discovery systems
Experience with implementing IT asset management best practice methodologies and life cycles
Experience utilizing ITAM processes to drive opportunities for service improvement and savings
Experience with online business process and procurement systems
Previous experience leading human resources, setting goals, managing projects and motivating employees
Proficiency in interpreting software contracts, licensing terms and conditions and product use rights for defined software titles.
5 years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Procurement or other computer-related field
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Certified Hardware and/or Software Management Professional through IBSMA, SIIA, IAITAM, or BSA
