The Job
Working alongside our general manager, the job involves working on multiple aspects of compliance requirements. From identifying new legislation, regulations and reacting to new requirements, the role requires a challenging and yet dynamic 360 degree approach.
About You
Working knowledge of regulatory affairs in the food supplement industry mainly in the UK and Europe.
Provide regulatory advice on development of new products and their legal obligations.
Approve formulations, packaging, marketing and advertising materials for regulatory compliance before it is used commercially.
Assist with the development of policies/ guidelines and responses to new and changing legislation.
Interaction with regulatory authorities such as various governing bodies, Trading Standards and Environmental Health, where appropriate.
Strong knowledge of relevant national product compliance regulations for Food Supplement for human and pets, Beauty and Cosmetics including but not limited to health claims, labeling, formulation, and product registration/ notification requirements for countries of responsibility (UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Netherlands)
Responsible for providing regulatory guidance on compliance with European food labelling laws including health claims and the status of ingredients with regards to novel food laws, food ingredient and medicines laws.
