JOB DESCRIPTION:

Principal Engineer Middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Bhoomi, APIGee)

To help design and build integration between multiple on premises and/or cloud hosted systems. Must be capable of understanding business requirements, working with Business/ Technology leaders, Enterprise Architects and End Users to develop a proposed solution and work with the technical team to develop and deploy the solution. This position requires experience with middleware applications, including expert level knowledge in one of the areas such as Mulesoft/APIGEE/Dell Bhoomi, as well as experience in detailed requirements analysis, software design, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in building and managing microservices-based integration architecture
• Expert level understanding of the Middleware platform
• Strong Experience in enterprise-level Integration Services projects using agile software development methodologies throughout the life cycle with repeated and demonstrable success
• Good understanding of Architecture principles and the ability to simplify complex technical problems.
• Hands-on knowledge with on-premise, hybrid, and cloud deployment model

Skills:

• Overall experience of 10 13 years
• At least 3 years of experience in building integration projects using MuleSoft OR APIGEE
• Strong experience with SOA, REST, and Messaging platforms
• Strong experience with enterprise application security (API/Messaging)
• Well versed on
  • MuleSoft, Mule ESB, API Integration, Mule Integrations, and Mule API Management, API Development, and Webservices

OR

• APIGee Edge (API Run Time, Monitoring &Analytics ) or API Gateway

• Good development exposure using Java or Node.js or equivalent programming languages.
• Designed and developed Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts including REST-ful and SOAP-based services
• Designed and developed enterprise services using RAML and REST-based APIs
• Experienced in both Agile and waterfall methodologies
• Experience with all aspects of the system implementation process of system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing, and support.
• Deployment/Architecture exposure to Anthos and GCP is good to have.
