Role
Software Developer Linux:
Responsibilities:
- Candidates primary responsibility is developing Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) Drivers for AMD RAID products.
- Candidate will have backup responsibilities of developing Windows Drivers for AMD RAID products.
- Sustain the design, development, integration, testing and deployment of AMD RAID solution.
- Includes cross cultural communication with vendor and customer.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors/masters in engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of job experience, with at least 2 years of Linux driver development.
- Linux kernel development
- Source control software knowledge (CVS/GIT)
- Should have experience on full design / development life cycle. Take a project from initial requirements to a successful release, then maintain the release.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on more than one task in parallel
- Ability to mentor technically
- Good time management skills
- Must be self-starter
- Good communication skills
- Working with geographical teams an added advantage
Desirable Skills:
- Working knowledge of Storage drivers
- Python, Shell Scripting
- C Programming Skills
- Good knowledge of PC hardwares and Responsibilities
