Willing to relocate to PuneMinimum Roles and Responsibilities of Accounts OfficerQualification: C.A IntermediateExperience: 3 to 5 years in the relevant area
As Accounts Officer a person is primarily responsible for the following in respect of the Division/s and Work assigned to him/her along with the team members reporting to him/her:
- Ensuring that the team reporting to him / her is delivering the required output relating to their roles & responsibilities in timely manner & supporting them in performing their duties
- Maintenance of books of accounts up to the Final Accounts
- Supervise, guide and help accounts & finance team reporting to him/her.
- Ensuring proper maintenance of the books of accounts & other documents relating to accounts & finance as per the system and guidelines of the organization
- Scrutiny of Financial Data along with appropriate actions
- Fund Management
- Day to day funds management
- Investment (fixed deposits) Tracking and Management
- Preparation and implementation of Investment Proposal as per approval
- Tracking of Earmarked Funds & their applications
- Financial Audit
- Coordinate for internal and statutory audits and compliances.
- Coordinate for any special audit/s and compliances
- Budget and budget monitoring
- Preparation of the divisional budgets.
- Preparation of Divisional Budget-Actual-Variance Statement
- Financial Reporting & Statutory compliances
- Timely & accurate submission of financial reports to statutory authorities, government authorities, sponsors and Management.
- Compliance on internal guidelines and standing orders
- Compliance with organizations policies, procedures and guidelines related to finance, accounting.
- Team Building
- Regular capacity building of team members reporting to him / her
- Facilitation to technical staff for following the organizational systems & procedures relating to financial transactions.
- Coordinate with other senior finance team members.
