Roles and Responsibilities

This is an off role position

• Responsible to collect blood samples or other specimen from the desired locations at per the desired schedule
• Verifies test requisitions by comparing information with doctor request form
• Decipher the best method for drawing blood depending on the specific patient as per the requirement, documentation, sample transportation, submission on time
• Need to be friendly, courteous and sympathetic when it comes to working with patients.
• Keep phlebotomy cart or bag well organized at all the times
• Practice infection control standards and other instructions as per the protocol and maintain all documentations as per NABL guidelines
• Well connect with call center coordinator for any kind of query or information
• Soft selling
• Timely sample collection and submission is must
• Co-ordinate and help the department in the smooth functioning and completion of projects
• Responsible to work with team members and make sure that all the work assigned to him/her complete in given time frame
• In free time period mobile phlebo will support in assigned centers but priority will be home collection only
• Covid and other sample collection whenever required
