Position Requirements
Technical Project Manager with an engineering degree from tier-1 or 2 institute and 5+ years experience in direct project management roles.
Essential functions:
1. Familiarity with stage gate processes in New Product Development in Manufacturing Industry
2. Conversant with managing cross-functional teams with technical members across different geographies.
3. Able to lead multiple technical projects with organizational excellence and urgency
4. Evaluation of scope requirements
5. Project/resource planning
6. Project reporting (written and verbal)
7. Proactive Risk identification, analysis, mitigation planning, and escalation (as required)
8. Ability to identify and implement change control processes
9. Ability to define and handle multiple management plans
10. Project monitoring and controlling capability
11. Strong organizational skills with the ability to organize and motivate a team and the related project documentation
12. Ability to contribute towards continuous improvement processes
13. High level understanding of quality assurance processes
14. Lead/mentor/and drive a project with a sense of urgency
15. Excellent speaking/conversational skills; able to present to leadership
16. Excellent written communication skills (general business and technical)
17. Proven background in managing projects across a spectrum of global cross-functional stakeholders
18. Strong work ethic, proactive and assertive, able to get things done with minimal supervision
Software Skills
1. Project Management tool/s (MS Project, SmartSheet, Basecamp, Clarizen,etc)
2. MS Office tools
3. SolidWorks, AutoCAD
4. ePDM - PLM Environments
5. Trello, Jira
Added Advantage
1) Work history and/or experience includes consumer product design, development, and manufacturing
2) Experience in agile software development and cloud-based iOS & Android applications
3) Exposure to database platforms, CAD tools
4) PMP Certification
5) Having previously worked in any PMO
6) Strong Problem solving skills
Qualifications:
BTech / M Tech or equivalent / MBA with engineering background preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
