Job Description
Software Development Engineer in Test (Jr SDET) in Chennai.
Datum Software is looking for Software Development Engineer in Test (Jr SDET) to join a highly innovative team that is building brand new, mission-critical software for payments.
As an Automation Engineer on a team that owns the QA Automation Tools, you'll be focused on collaborating with sharp engineers and highly-engaged users driving improvements to our technology stack. Youll get to learn and apply your domain expertise to harmonize with our highly-scalable transactional backend system, to bring a solid, easy to use, customer-facing experience on any mobile device.
- Reviews test plans and runs manual test cases, which includes walking through the steps, running through them to determine pass/fail, and filing bugs if the test fails
- Perform system testing, functional, regression, load testing, and integration testing
- Automate test scripts for regression testing
- Collaborate with developers and Subject Matter Experts to deliver high quality and successful implementations that meet the goals of the customer.
- Update test case and test documentation
Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in SDET.
- Testing mindset, ability to execute manual test cases for a distributed system
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred
- Experience programming in Java and SQL is a plus
- Experience with jUnit, Selenium, TestNG is a plus
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting ability to tackle business challenges
- Hunger for continuous learning and professional development
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
