Job Description
- Build software based on specifications not only to internal standards but also to external customer needs.- Will provide input on the design of all aspects of the application.
- Must have a keen understanding of web-based technologies in general and some of the security aspects around them.
- Will be required to take change requests through any or all stages of their development including testing.
- Working in a team to accomplish the requests made as well as the goals set out by the company.
- Must be able to report progress daily and interact with others to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- Will be required to participate in peer code review of their own code as well as others.
- Will be expected to mentor intermediate developers
- Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in a Web Application Development;
- Good verbal and writing communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment and collaborative team
- Minimum of three years of related experience in a SQL Database Development
- Desired Experience working with remote development and testing teams
- Desired Experience with Team Foundation Server.
- Positive attitude and ability to workweek within a team environment
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to superior, high-quality service and customer satisfaction
- Preferably have a University and/or a College Degree or equivalent 3-year work experience
- C#, .NET
- ASP.NET, MVC
- Knowledge of ASP.NET WebAPI is a plus
- Solid understanding of OOP principles
- Working knowledge of Entity Framework
- Solid understanding of relational databases concepts
- Good knowledge of front end technologies and frameworks - HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery, Bootstrap)
- Knowledge of MySQL and SQL Server is a plus
- Good verbal and writing communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment and collaborative team
