Mandatory Skills
- Experience with automated build pipeline, continuous integration and continuous deployment environments
- Experience in setting up CI/CD framework and worked on tools like Jenkins/bamboo/GoCD etc. Knowledge of Dockers and Kubernetes
- Experience in GIT as DVCS and repo hosted setup like GitHub, Gerrit, phabricator, bit bucket etc.
- Build tools (Maven, Gradle, Ant, SCONS, GNU Make)
- Maintain code repository standards (GIT/SVN), improve practices of branching and code merge.
- Manage and maintain versioned build artifacts like Nexus, artifactory.
- Experience with setting up code quality tools like Sonar, find bugs, cobertura, jacoco etc
- Extensive programming experience in Perl, Python + shell, Go, Java.
- Extensive knowledge of technologies such as Vagrant, Docker, & Kubernetes and good to have knowledge of AWS stack.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, operating systems, virtualization.
Optional Skills (Added Advantage)
- Database administration (MariaDB, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with Apache Mesos, Apache Zookeeper.
- Experience with Apache httpd server, Apache tomcat.
- Basic knowledge of Groovy, PHP, Java, XML, HTML.
Soft Skills/Competencies
- Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
- Provide the team with a vision of the project objectives.
Facilitate problem solving and collaboration and maintaining healthy group dynamics. - Assure that the team addresses all relevant issues within the specifications and various standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot failed builds and/or operational failures.
- Ability to pick up new technologies in a rapidly changing environment, meticulous and detail oriented by nature, and keen eye towards identifying and eliminating risk.
Job Responsibilities
- Support various development teams in their day-to-day issues related to CI, environment.
- Bug fixing in in-house developed tools.
- Analyze and develop new features in tools as per the request from development teams.
- Automation of manual tasks.
- Be the custodian of the development environment and act as interface to the ITTE team.
