Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

n. Handling routine & System Monitoring of HP-UX, Windows, Linux based systems. o. Health check of systems at OS (Linux/HP-UX/Windows) level. p. Monitoring VM, Datastore and ESXi host status through vCenter (VMware). q. Timely downtime / failure analysis for incidents r. Uptime monitoring of Web based applications. s. Backup monitoring, configuration and trouble shooting. t. Backup restore and Configure ODG. u. Data replication monitoring tasks. v. Investigate RPO exceptions and posting their reasons in Public folder. w. Monitoring physical components of Servers, Storages, SAN and TOR switches. x. Call logging and follow up with Hardware vendors (HP/Dell CISCO/Hitachi) on technical issues. y. Coordinate with Network/Antivirus/Infrastructure/Security team on regular basis to keep systems running properly. z. Other tasks as and when requested such as documentation, etc.
