Job Description:

• Creating daily checklist Linux Server and share with operation manager.
• Installations & configuration- RedHat Linux server .
• Create simple, swap & LVM partitions.
• Design, deployment, and configuration of servers, RAID.
• Installed and configured RHEL 7 and Centos 7, RHEVM.
• Managed User & Group accounts.
• Configured volume groups and logical volumes, extended logical volumes for file system growth using Logical Volume Manager (LVM).
• Used VI/VIM text editor to modify configuration file.
• Installed and managed software packages using with RPM/yum.
• Installed and configured Apache HTTP server.
• Installed and Configured DNS, DHCP, NFS, FTP and other network services.
• Scheduling of CRON entries to be run and at specified times.
• Worked on Unix/Linux user's creation, file/dir. level permissions etc.
• To provide support during data center installations.
• Ensured that assigned systems were engineered, configured and optimized for maximum functionality and availability.
• Managed systems configuration and maintenance, problem troubleshooting, planning and directing upgrades, and testing operations to ensure optimum system functionality.
• Configuring, monitoring, upgrading and maintaining systems hardware, software and related infrastructure.
• Supervise complaint ticketing system and follow timely resolution of all work orders.
• OS & Network alert monitoring by IBM Tivoli toll SCAPM & ITNM.
• Working on IBM Maximo ticketing tool based on ITIL foundation.
• Inventory database monitoring and updating.
