Job Description

Responsibilities:

Preparation & Maintenance of statutory books of accounts and financial statements, ensuring compliance to accounting norms and standards
Finalize the accounts along with necessary schedules and annexure.
Monitor the inflow & outflow of cash and ensure optimum utilization of available funds for business operations.
Verification of Bank Reconciliation Statement & Vendor Advances.
Analyze variances to determine difference between projected & actual and suggest corrective actions for management review.
Preparation of MIS reports and other statements to provide feedback to top management on financial performance.
Providing the centre wise profitability, expenses analysis and revenue leakages.
Interact with Auditors, address queries raised and ensure audits are completed as per schedule.
Evaluate internal control systems / procedures with a view to highlight the shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations.
Co-ordinate with concerned dept. on commercial contracts, operation & maintenance cost estimation, fuel management & Regions -/ Power Stations.
Coordinate with the Company Secretary in understanding the corporate policies etc.
Exposure to manufacturing business, knowledge of SAP is required and should be computer savvy.
Liaison with plant staff & ensure that all bills are booked on time.
High degree of commercial orientation to understand business issues and challenges
To monitor contract labour deployment and registers.
To check returnable & non returnable gate pass register on regular basis and purchase the pending items
To check production entries are tallied with SAP.
To check cash suspense account

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications: CA/ICWA
Specific Knowledge:
Accounts, Budgeting, MIS, Audit & Taxation.
Skills:
Excellent Communication and articulation skills.
SAP Working knowledge in FI & CO Modules
Experience:
15 + years in handling Finance & Accounts of a Manufacturing Plant.
