Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a full-time, passionate Software Test Automation Engineer with 5+ years experience to join our team of innovative experts and seek viable customer focused cloud-based solutions for the Horizontal Drilling Industry.

Our products solve real-world problems in the Horizontal Directional Drilling industry and are used by real customers. As such, you will be responsible for executing all levels of testing. The ideal individual has a proven track record of extraordinary problem-solving skills. DCI offers a highly collaborative work environment with a very challenging domain problem.

• Analyse user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product manager.
• Execute all levels of testing (Automation, System, Integration, and Regression)
• Rest API automation.
• Functional/GUI automation.
• Design and develop automation scripts based on scenarios identified
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.Tech/B.E/MCA. (any specialization) from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Test Automation Engineer or similar role testing web services and solutions.
• Willingness to work in C#.
• Rest API automation using Java/C#.
• Functional/GUI automation using selenium and Java/C#.
• Ability to write SQL queries.
• Knowledge of any bug tracking tools such as JIRA and test management tools like TestRail
• Familiarity with version control management software (e.g. Git)
• Familiarity with JUnit or NUnit
• Experience using some of the following: Selenium, Postman/soapUI.
• Knowledge of .NET, HTML, C#, JavaScript and web client technologies
