Job Description
Must Have Skills (Top 3 technical skills only) *Significant experience writing effective technical publications for a technical audience.
Experience creating videos for a technical audience using Camtasia, Snag-it or other tools.
Experience with a variety of technical writing and content-creation interfaces, including HTML, wiki markup, video-production tools, XML, and any standard graphics tool to create and manage technical publications. RoboHelp experience helpful.
Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with online content-delivery tools and platforms.
Significant experience in working with extremely complex technical solutions.
Desired experience includes familiarity with customer-experience software, telecommunications technology and standards, or other highly technical systems.
Detailed Design, create and support a variety of technical content related to Genesys Customer Experience offerings. The successful candidate will understand and be adept at the roles and responsibilities associated with a senior technical writer, 7 to 10 years of experience, in the software industry. This candidate will work with Development, Quality Assurance, Customer Care, Professional Services, and Training departments in a cross-functional, team environment to gather information, create and maintain high-quality technical content.
Preference will be given to candidates familiar with and interested in two main areas: innovative strategies for technical content production (primarily multimediavideos and online publishing) and solid technical aptitude (comfort with scripting languages) with excellent writing skills. A candidates strong understanding of writing for the Cloud and of content architecture best practices will also enhance consideration. The successful candidate should be based in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:
Acquire and organize basic source material for transformation and synthesis into the creation of customer-facing documentation that meets a high standard for accuracy and readability. Content should meet the needs of Genesys Cloud-based readers.
Work to create and deliver content and videos to coincide with product releases.
Work with technical writing staff to ensure coverage of several kinds of product releases.
Continually seek to improve existing processes and content.
Maintain a high level of knowledge in the field of information experience.
Achieve a high degree of product knowledge to produce quality materials.
Seek to provide innovation for the packaging and delivery of content and videos.
Follow corporate style guides to ensure a consistent look and feel for deliverables.
