Qualification- MBBS+DNB/MD Medicine with 4- 10 years of experience.

Job Description:
A. Clinical Management of Patients
- To council Relatives about status of patient minimum once daily & as & when required.
- Attend rounds with consultant & ensure the compliance for the same.
- Inform admitting consultants of changes in medical condition of patients and of relevant action taken.
- Follow the instructions of consultants for their specific regime for each individual patient.
- To Perform invasive procedures such as Central Line Insertion, Endotracheal Intubation, HD Catheterization, Lumbar puncture, External Pacing, Pericardiocentesis etc as per Clinical Privileges.
- Visit all in-patients daily and document in clinical notes.
- To be familiar with all relevant procedures/policies
- To be familiar with hospital clinical policies.
- To follow patient safety & hospital infection control protocols to ensure safe & healthy work environment.
- ICU-Handling entire ICU which includes patient care, relative counseling, and consultant management adherence to infection control protocols, participate in meetings and committees as requested by the management from time to time.
- Cath lab-As a standby anesthetist for all procedures in cath lab. Any MRI cases wherein standby anesthetist is required (OT, Endoscopy).
- Any emergency/code blue case in our hospital.
B. Operational
- To perform as link between ICU & Hospital Management.
- To ensure compliance to accurate & complete documentation at ICU which includes daily progress notes, consent, Transfer summaries, History sheet etc.
- To ensure compliance to Hospital safety, NABH Protocols & Hospital infection control safety protocols at ICU.
- To conduct CPR analysis regularly.
C. Emergency
- Assist in handling medical emergencies as member of Code Blue Team.
- To carry out Cardiac Arrest and other Emergency Procedures as per hospital policy.
- To assist emergency treatments for patients, staff and visitors and complete appropriate documentation.
D. In-Service Education :
- Assist to conduct Mortality & morbidity meetings regularly.
- To assist training program for ICU staff pertaining to ICU protocols, Clinical protocols & emergency management etc.
- To conduct BLS & ACLS training for Hospital staff.
- Participate in the in-service education program, inclusive of CPR, Health & Safety Training and Fire.
- Promote the hospital by showing empathy and compassion to patients, their families and friends.
- Promote the hospital by demonstrating a customer focused approach at all times to patients, consultants and staff.
- To be a part of various Committees and ensure the compliance of the same
- To be a part of KPS and also Clinical KPS. Ensure the documentation of clinical KPS and Compliance.
- To carryout and perform various other duties/subroutines of the department as per lawful and reasonable instructions of superior from time to time.
- To counsel Relatives about status of patient minimum once daily & as & when required.
