Job Description:
Job Title: Software Engineer
Job Summary:
Experience: 2-4 years
Job Location: Pune
Responsibilities
- Part of the development team to design, document and develop further enhancements to current version of the application for clinical research organizations.
- Visualize the big picture, anticipate longer-term requirements and create optimal solution design
- Take over part of the second and third level support after the delivery of the product to customer
- Enhance and maintain Operations Manual for the product to enable second and third level support
Technical Skills:
- At least 3 years of practical experience in developing Java 8 based applications
- Fluent knowledge and hands-on experience with modern Web Technologies, mainly Vaadin (GWT based), REST ,HTML,CSS
- Fluent Knowledge in Spring framework
- Knowledge of java-based ORM frameworks like Hibernate, Spring Data
- Knowledge of open source applications like Tomcat server, ActiveMQ, Graylog, Jenkins, Jasper Report is added advantage
- Knowledge of health related topics like DICOM and CDISC is added advantage
- Practical experience with handling incidents reported by end users with no technical background
- Experience with commonly used UML diagram modeling with Enterprise architect or equivalent tools
Other skills
- Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Ability to drive the discussion with the various stakeholders across Geographical teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate from IT/Computers stream
- Graduate from any other stream with Certification courses done in Java technologies
- 2 to 4 yrs. experience as a Developer/Architect in Java technology
