Designing and creating services and Cloud architecture for highly available and highly scalable infra services environments,

Experience with AWS cloud platforms - EC2, RDS, ELB, Auto Scale, AWS CLi, ElastiCache, CloudFront, ELK, S3, IAM, VPC, Cloud watch & Metrics, Guard Duty, Organizations And WAF, CloudTrail, System Manager, CloudFormation, Terraform,

Expertise in GIT, SonarQube and CI/CD using automation tools like Jenkins, etc.,

Experience in Infra as code automation by using Ansible, Terraform, AWS cloud formation, Lambda, Python, JSON

Expertise in setting up and managing web server environments like Apache, Nginx, and application Word press, PHP, Magento, Drupal,

Apache Web Server deployments, configurations, performance tuning, & Hardening of e-commerce applications,

Knowledge and optimization skills of databases like MySQL and Oracle,

Experience in deployment through Docker, Kubernetes,

Collaborating with Dev and Testing teams to set up Dev/Testing/Stage and Production environments,

Working knowledge of branching and merging code lines in the GIT, Stash and resolve all the conflicts raised during merges,

Experience in tracing complex build problems, release issues and trouble shooting skills.

Hands on developing and executing Shell scripts, Perl scripts, JSON and Python scripting.

Good knowledge on Linux administration.

Hands on experience using Bug tracking tools like JIRA,

Good knowledge on Log Analysis Cloud Watch, Splunk. Data Dog,

Experience working with and building RESTful APIs

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to synthesize technical data for non-technical audiences

5+ years DevOps Engineering experience

Job description

As a senior DevOps engineer on our core DevOPS team, you will utilize your technical expertise in driving the design and automation of processes to support continuous delivery of applications and services for a large Telecom / E-Commerce Websites & Apps. Qualified candidates must have demonstrable experience at designing and implementing end-to-end automation processes. Not only automating build processes but also incorporating test automation to improve code quality.

Job Responsibilities -

  • Provide technical direction in the design and implementation of continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment (CI/CD) processes in the form of a pipeline for the delivery of software across the enterprise
  • Automate the deployment, scaling, and management of supporting CI/CD infrastructure
  • Define and lead implementation of best practices for CI/CD across the full SDLC
  • Provide mentorship to other team members
  • Support internal development team in the CI/CD lifecycle
  • Work closely with multiple teams in an agile environment
  • Lead root cause analysis activities and work with team members to implement solutions

Skills -

  • 5+ years DevOps Engineering experience
  • DevOps experience must go beyond the use of release processes and into the actual design, development, implementation, and definition of best practices for CI/CD processes
  • Experience integrating these stages into a CD pipeline
  • 4+ CI experience with the following is a must: Jenkins, Bitbucket/GIT, Nexus or Artifactory, SonarQube, New Relic, Grafana etc.,
  • Experience utilizing APIs to integrate CI, testing, and deployments of systems across the SDLC
  • Very strong understanding of modern IT infrastructure components and their integrations
  • Scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, JSON)
