Oracle HCM Fusion Support -Con - BLR - J42774

Job Responsibilities:
- Create data conversion strategy for HR, Payroll, Benefits migration tailored to client needs
- Explain the HDL/HSDL architecture, walkthrough the delivered templates to customer and assist the customer in mapping legacy to Oracle Fusion application fields.
- Understand the data conversion functional requirements and write data mapping specification documents Work structures, Workers, Payroll objects and Balance conversions
- Collaborate with the other project team members such as functional consultants to understand the impact of configurations on data conversion needs.
- Ability to write data extraction/transformation programs (using Oracle PL/SQL) to extract the data from legacy applications or transform the file provided by customer into HDL compatible format.
- Review and update the conversion runbook from time to time
- Troubleshoot data conversion issues and provide resolution, data cleanup recommendations.
- Define testing scenarios and develop test scripts for functional testing of data conversion and develop data reconciliation reports to ensure the legacy data has been converted correctly.
- Support clients with the execution of test scripts and resolve Issues raised during testing.
- Provide status and issue reports to the Project Manager on a regular basis.
- Create accelerators and tools to reduce time and effort on data migration/validation activities.

Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with the data conversion tools such as PBL , HDL, and HCM Spreadsheet Data loaders and BIP Reports especially on Payroll objects like Assigned Payroll, Element Entries, Calculation cards, Balances.
- Good exposure and technical knowledge on Fast Formula.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Payroll calculations and Tax cards.
- Strong Knowledge and understanding of Worker loads
- Strong PL/SQL knowledge is preferred
- Understanding of the SDLC lifecycle.
- Advanced Excel skills such as vlookup, Pivot
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Ability to lead junior data conversion team members in data conversion track.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (B.E or B.Tech is preferred.)
- Expertise in HDL/PBL/Spreadsheet loader tools for Core HR, Payroll and Balance conversions.
- Must have done at least 2 or more Oracle HCM implementations with focus on data conversions.
- Oracle Certification on Global HR/Payroll preferred.

Seniority Level:
5+ years of experience in a similar role
