Job Details:
- We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including software defined storage networking, distributed computing, large-scale system design, and security.
- We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be eager to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.
Responsibilities:
- Work with emerging and established datacenter software stacks to optimize and innovate for new memory, storage and server technologies.
- Define, Execute and report detailed test plans to validate enterprise cloud stacks and subsystem's
- Design test approaches detailed test plans for the functionality, System solution validation of the cloud stacks that suit customer requirements.
- Also, contribute towards test framework recommendations test automation.
- Automate test cases and execute as part of new feature testing, and enabling automated regression runs for subsequent releases.
Qualifications:
- You must possess the below a balanced combination of below qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar degree with 6+ years of a balanced combination of:
- Experience testing a "distributed systems" product (file systems, storage systems, databases, networking)
- Experience with leading automation efforts, writing and debugging automation tests for complex enterprise software.
- Good knowledge of test automation using frameworks.
- Experience in Web based Network and/or Datacenter Management, DevOps software testing, REST API testing, Web Services testing etc.
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing and executing tests for storage subsystems spanning spinning media and SSDs. *Prior expertise in validation at scale of flash based storage drives (preferably NVMe)
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies
- Experience using and administering projects in a continuous integration framework such as Jenkins.
- Experience developing automated tests in one of following programming languages: Python, Java, GOLANG
- Experience using Kubernetes, Kafka/Elastic-Search/SQL, Serverless frameworks is a plus
- You love to learn and to dig into new technologies, and pick them up quickly
- You have hands-on skills with cloud-native orchestration tools in deploying and optimizing playbooks with tools such as Ansible and Openshift.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenStack based deployments is a plus
Good to have exposure or hands-on experience developing and implementing performance criteria, tools and tests against native cloud workloads at scale in these areas:
- K8S API latency testing
- SDN Controller latency and performance testing such as Calico or Contrail
- ELK stack or Apache Spark performance testing
- Familiarity with instrumentation tools such as Prometheus
- You have hands-on experience with working API's (REST)
- Comfortable with various CI/CD tool sets and have hands-on experience with tools such Jenkins, Spinnaker.io, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with datacenter infrastructure (Virtualization, Containersetc.)
- Software Defined Storage Software defined network stack
- Knowledge of modern storage technologies and associated network interconnect technologies NVMeoF, iSCSI,RDMA, ROCE
