Job Description
- Work independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Process sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on result and outcome.
- Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Design and develop in Java, JDK, Struts and GWT
- Design and develop in GWT/UI development
- Develop within front and back end technologies for web-based applications
- Design, develop, code and test applications for software enhancements and new applications
- Work closely with our business product owners on an Agile team to fully understand requirements, provide feedback, and request clarification as needed.
- Work with other engineers on a collaborative Agile team to deliver code on an ongoing basis.
- Review requirements and data models and translate into responsible applications and architecture
- Conduct design and code reviews with extended team to ensure that code meets CGI Code quality standards
- Track and resolve software defects
- Support test execution including system level and integration tests
- Implement Unit test cased using Junit
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Member with 5 to 8 years experience in following technical skills:
- Candidate should have strong knowledge of Java and minimum experience of 3 Years in open JDK( Mandatory)
- Candidate should have strong experience on Struts and minimum experience of 2.5 Years in GWT(Mandatory)
- Candidate should have 2 years of experience in struts & 1 year in CSS , JS
- Candidate should have some experience on JBOSS, Wildfly
- Experience on Hibernate ( 1 year ) is a plus
- Experience on SOAP ( 6 months ) is a plus
- Candidate should have Ability to write Oracle SQL queries to retrieve and manage data
- Experience Agile/scrum is highly desirable
- JIRA knowledge is a plus
- Candidate should have Knowledge of web-based and service-based architecture
- Excellent Communication Skills
