As a key member of cutting-edge development team responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work on end to end verification of various NetApp file sharing products
- Work with development team and product manager to understand various product features
- Design and developer test plan and test cases for new features to be released in product
- Develop indigenous testing framework based on the requirements in the project
- Automate test cases using REST APIs
- Understand existing test plan/test case and regression suite for features which have been previously built
- To log defects found in manual / Automation execution, and works with QA, Development or other partners to track them through closure
- Collaborate with other engineers in the team to automate System / Functional test cases effectively which would save repeated manual testing efforts
- Simulate issues reported by customers and work with development team for resolution of high priority customer issues
- Automate test cases using C#/Python/PowerShell
Mandatory Skills:
- 4+ years experience in automating test cases using C#/Python/PowerShell
- Ability to develop indigenous testing framework based on the requirements in the project
- Familiarity with testing REST APIs and writing automated system for testing the same.
- Ability to understand a sandbox system and write test cases by getting familiar with the functionality and the working of the system.
- Knowledge of a major cloud platform i.e, Azure/AWS
- Person should have worked on verification of enterprise product
- In depth knowledge of testing principles, process and authoring of test documents.
- Background of working in Windows operating system
- Ability to identify and leverage tools for automated solutions best suited for testing needs
- Experience developing clean, maintainable automated tests for backend components.
- Passion and ownership of quality of the applications owned by the team to deliver Enterprise grade products
- Ability to develop strong domain knowledge to enable making product level decisions
- Good understanding of Software development lifecycle and methodology (Waterfall or Agile)
- Good Analytical, Problem Solving Debugging skills
- Knowledge of GIT, Jenkins Gerrit
- Knowledge on Jira
Good to have Skills:
- Prior enterprise-class storage product development experience a plus
- Familiarity with C/C++/.Net programming.
- Knowledge of file server protocols (TCP, SMB, NFS)

- Ability to plan activities meticulously, identifying dependencies and proactively work towards resolution
- Good communication skills to crisply and accurately report program status
- Positive attitude, Self-starter, self-motivated
- Capable of taking responsibility for tasks and ensuring a successful outcome
- Able to contribute to the work of a team while being motivated to work day to day on individual tasks
- Independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives
- Independently determines methods and procedures on new or special assignments
