Job Description
About the Department:
Manufacturing; Over all Plant manufacturing as well as support functions.
Objective:
To make sure all plant technical and support functions run smoothly.
Overall customer satisfaction
Quality services
Business development
Manufacturing Engineering
Efficient planning and scheduling of personal and equipments to reduce bottlenecks and problems.
Expectations: - KPIs
To enhance the manufacturing capabilities of plant.
Plant OEE
Automation of plant manufacturing process.
To build the healthy relationship with the customers.
Overall plant quality control
Inventory Control
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifies and records any problems related to the product, process and quality system.
Executes production plan for achievement of the production targets.
Implements QMS & Maintenance of quality records.
Initiates action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity related to product, process and quality system and provides solutions through designated channels. Verifies the implementation of solutions.
Controls further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
Represents needs of the customers in production in addressing ISO/TS 16949 requirements .
Production Scheduling manage as per costumer requirement.
Introduces productivity improvement concepts.
5s Implementation throughout the Plant
Ensures good work habits and maintains work discipline in the shop.
Maintains effective interaction with maintenance and Quality Control to ensure maximum efficiency in manufacturing operation.
Informs the CEO about products/processes, which become non compliant with specified requirements.
Effectively plans to minimize work-in-process inventory.
Ensures regular training of personnel in the respective functions and on the job training.
Initiates and/or participates in continual improvement activities
Maintains statistical process control techniques for identified areas.
Reviews the performance of HODs.
Perform activities of multi disciplinary team.
Executes any other duties assigned by the CEO
Prerequisites and Qualifications:
Should be Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Full Time)
