About the Role

• Profitability, Pricing and Analytics group is seeking a software engineer who performs automation framework development activities ranging from analysis through deployment in a highly complex business analytics environment implemented using various Data tools - Informatica ETL, EXADATA, TERADATA and OBIEE 12c.
• Highly skilled application developer to work in AGILE methodology as part of self-sufficient scrum team with core Java based application development, building data driven automation framework and CI CD with strong experience in RDBMS, UFT and Selenium tool.
• Responsible for analysis, development and interaction with global team.

Responsibilities

• The position is a senior development team member who has hands on experience with Core Java and its frame works.
• Designing and Building (not just using) Keyword and Data Driven Frameworks using UFT, Selenium, Excel.
• Writing SQL Queries and PLSQL Store Procedures in RDBMS as per the requirements.
• Application development under Agile methodology (Preferable Scrum / Scrum ban).
• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery within Self-sufficient development team - Responsible for estimating stories, core development, and peer testing.
• Experience with working on JIRA (creating requirements / user stories / defect tracking / Jira Board)
• Review and Analyze release notes and transform to user stories for development and integrated automation testing.
• Work on Scripting and Automation to address project requirements for in sprint testing
• Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently
• Document development process in order to develop procedures for application use
• Participate in daily standup meetings.
• Maintains very good communication

Essential Qualifications :

• Over 8+ years of experience designing and develop enterprise solution using Core Java and its frame works.
• Core understanding of REST and SOAP APIs and experience with Tools like Postman, SOAP UI etc.,
• Over 5+ years of experience writing SQL and PLSQL in RDBMS Oracle or TERADATA
• Hands on experience in engineering data driven automation framework solution using automation tool like UFT and Selenium.
• Proven experience in application development under Agile methodology.
• Good working knowledge of CI/CD Tools like Jenkins, Vulcan and GITHUB and its integration with java based web applications.
• Understanding of Data Marts and Data Warehouses concepts.

Non-Technical:

• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Significantly contribute to design and analysis sessions to ensure sound team decision-making
• Actively involved in system and user acceptance testing activities, including issue resolution.
• Complete technical documentation to ensure system is fully documented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Share best practices and lessons learned from past implementation efforts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, and work towards a deadline in a fast paced, aggressive development schedule
