Job Description

One of our clients - a Data & Analytics Services firm recognized by Gartner amongst the Top 50 in the world is looking for- " Azure Data - Presales Solution Architect".

Exp: 12 to 15yrs

Work Location: BLR/Chennai / NGP/Pune (Should be ready for frequent short term travels in and outside India

Position: Permanent

Key skills required: Azure active directory, Iaas, Pass & Saas, Biztalk Server, .net, Middleware integration, Hybrid cloud, Container registry, Docker, architect, solution architect, presales.

Must have : Hands on Azure Consulting + Some Cloud presales solutioning exposure.

Desired skills :

• Overall work experience of around 12 15 years with minimum of 3 years experience on Azure related projects
• BS Degree in IT, MIS or business related functional discipline
• In depth knowledge of key Azure services for data integration, BI and processing services including but not limited to Azure HDInsight, Azure Portal, Log Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Catalog, Power BI, Azure Search, Azure Functions, Azure Stream Analytics and Azure Event Hub.
• Databases (Azure databases and storage services) Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Time Series Insights, Redis Cache, SQL Databases, Table Storage, etc., Snowflake (good to have)
• Big Data (Good to have) - Hadoop / Hive, HDFS, Spark, YARN
• Programming Language (Must have) Python, Scala, Java
• CI/CD Automation for Azure
• Operating System (Must have) - Any flavor of Linux
• ETL Tools (Good to have) Informatica, Talend.

Responsibilities:

• Designing cloud architecture schema objects & good understanding of the Cloud landscape. Design and operationalize solution around monitoring, alerting, logging etc.
• Study existing technology landscape and understand current data integration framework and do impact assessment for the requirements
• Responsible for database design process, logical design, physical design, star schema, snowflake schema etc.
• Analyze data processing, integration, modelling and reporting requirements & Define data loading strategies considering volume, data types ,frequency and analytics specifications
• Ensure optimal balance between cost and performance
• Good programming skills - quick and self-learner and has good experience in Cloud technologies (particularly Azure), ETL, python, etc.
• Works hand in hand with Delivery teams for successful delivery of project and provide Estimation, scoping, scheduling assistance
• Migrate on premise data integration framework and storage to Azure platform.
• Manage build phase and quality assure code to ensure fulfilling requirements and adhering to Cloud architecture. Resolve difficult design and develop issues
• Assist in responding to Cloud RFPs and also defend RFP responses
• Provide Azure consulting to customers
• Assist in building up the Azure CoE from grounds up managing capabilities, partnerships, etc.
