Job Description
About the Role About the Role As a senior member of Technical Business/Systems Analyst team working in the Regulatory Reporting area. You would be involved in business analysis, requirements documentation, systems analysis, design documentation, acting as a bridge between development teams and business teams. Responsibilities Prepare Functional System Design Specification (FSD) for application to meet business requirements in accordance with existing architectural framework / guidelines. Responsibilities :
- Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods
- Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions
- Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience and Microsoft Visio experience
- Process definition (need to be able to create process/workflow diagrams in the FSD) and documentation experience (writing technical specifications).
- Experience facilitating meetings with team members in various remote locations
- Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project managers
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to work closely with stakeholders and formulate acceptable solutions, design walkthroughs etc.
- Detailed oriented with excellent documentation skills and capable of delivering details with high accuracy.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Good Understating of Relationship Data base Management.
- Understating of Data Dictionary, Primary Key, Data Structure, Data Mapping and Data Modeling.
- 7+ years of systems analysis / business analysis and requirements elaboration and documentation
- Ability to work in dynamic, fast paced and high pressure environment
- Flexibility in work hours to overlap with US team during US business hours
- Excellent liaison, relationship skills (to collaborate with and support technology/business partners)
Desired Qualifications: Banking Experience, Regulatory Reporting Experience and Vendor Management experience is a BIG PLUS.
