Job Description
Role: Web& Graphic Designer
Industry Type: IT-Software, Software Services
Employment: Full Time
Location: Coimbatore (Work from Office)
Weekly Working: 5 Days| Night Shifts (Free Cab)
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Professional work experience of 5 to 8 years in IT Industry.
- Graphic Design diploma or degree (or equivalent)
Required Knowledge and Experience
- 3+ years of related experience in agency or in-house design environment
- The person should have good communication skills as he/she will interact with the CTO directly.
- A creative portfolio that demonstrates strong aesthetics, design principles and design thinking
- Mandatory Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) experience
- Solid presentation skills and the ability to clearly articulate design ideas with external vendors and internal teams
- Trained eye for detail, color, typography and layout
- Strong understanding of web and print production requirements
- An ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, tight deadlines, and high-pressure situations
- A proven track record as a self-starter who is highly organized and committed to honing your skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to express complex, technical
concepts in audience-appropriate terms - Ability to use Microsoft programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Ability to animate within PowerPoint is an asset
- Ability to produce content in both Windows and Mac environments
- Ability to create animated GIFs considered a distinct advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment and be receptive
to creative direction
Key Responsibilities
- Working on multiple projects simultaneously and meeting all project/submission deadlines
- Collaborating with various cross-functional team members to articulate and execute designs
- Creative conceptual design and print production of marketing collateral in accordance with brand guidelines.
- This can include proposal submissions, PowerPoint presentations, corporate info-graphics, eblasts, social media posts, newsletters, etc.
- Understanding and interpreting high-level business concepts/objectives to develop suitable creative graphics for internal or client-facing documents and presentations
- Contributing to organizational learnings and process improvement
- Researching new design ideas and staying on top of new channels/digital social trends.
