Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESProduction Engineer - Production Headquarter: New Delhi Reporting Manager: AM - Production Purpose of the Position: To ensure smooth operation of all machines in production area to achieve production targets as per production plan. To prepare & monitor production plan. Job Responsibilities:
1. To ensure smooth operation of all machines in production areas.
2. To rectify any breakdown immediately in the production machines and maintains the records in history cards.
3. To ensure that preventive maintenance of all production machines is performed as per approved preventive maintenance schedule.
4. To ensure that calibration of all production machines or support system is performed as per approved calibration plan.
5. To coordinate with production personnel to achieve the production targets as per production plan.
6. To understand Bill of Material/Quantities of all products (as given in BMR) and prepare annual/half yearly/quarterly/monthly production plan as per sales/marketing requirements.
7. To monitor inventory /stock movement in the stores and ensure that minimum and maximum inventory level of all required input material is maintained.
8. To do periodic evaluation of the production and procurement plans and in case of any variance or deviation from the approved plans, inform to all concerned and take necessary CAPAs
9. To monitor WIP batches in production and inform delivery schedule to sales/marketing department.
10. To inform all delays in production plan timely to marketing department and reporting manager for necessary actions.
11. Any other task assigned by reporting manager
12. Functional reporting shall be as per departmental organogram.
The responsibilities may be reviewed/added as per company requirements from time to time.
