Job Description

Position: Purchase Officer (Construction)
Experience: Exp.3 yrs to 5yrs (must have construction industry)

Gender Preference: Male

Salary: No bar for deserving candidates

Location: Noida/U.P

Job Description


  • Excellent Technical knowledge in Civil & Engineering Materials.
  • Independently responsible for procurement of materials related to construction site & Engineering from local & outstation markets.
  • Building and managing the business relationship with suppliers, liaise with them for timely and quality delivery & research for new suppliers.
  • Maintains a record of orders placed and material received, getting them checked against specifications given in the contract.
  • Value Analysis of the equipment/product to ensure the purchase at the Right Price with Right Specifications from the Right Sources.
  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for Supplies and Equipments.
  • Vendor Management - Strategic approach for building and maintaining relationships with best vendors, which helps in achieving the business goals.
  • Receiving/ Issue of materials (GRN)
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices and related documentation.
  • Maintain stock record and update every week.
  • Responsible for daily/weekly meetings with the Procurement Head.
  • Competency in MS office and ERP.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Bills Management

  • To send the bills along with the PO for certification on regular basis.
  • To Make the list of certified bills for further approval from the Purchase HOD and send the same to Accounts department for payment.

Vendor Management

  • To develop new vendors of parts, hardware items, electrical items which are required by us for our regular use.
  • To coordinate with the vendors for the bills against which the material purchased on regular basis, the bill should be collected immediately. (At least weekly basis or fortnightly basis.)
  • To strictly verify the rates/quality of material with the vendors and to make the comparison chart of rates for the item purchased.

Required Candidate profile


The candidate should be Graduate with good experience in Civil / Mechanical purchasing having around 4-6 years of relevant Experience & ready to relocate anywhere in India.

Candidate should be well mannered & having good communication skill.
