Job Description

Bosconet is a charitable organisation registered under the The Societies Registration Act, 1860. The organisation is the network head of 354 Don Bosco NGOs working across the country, for the upliftment of the marginalised since 1906. Bosconet, through its partner organizations is involved in a vast spectrum of community development programs across the nation. It is also responsible for strengthening capacities of the 11 Don Bosco planning and development offices across India, towards developing national strategies to promote sustainable development.

Currently we have the following vacancies in FUND RAISING DEPARTMENT



1. City Head - Fundraising ( Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai,Kerala, Goa, Patna and Guwahati)

Identifying, hiring, training, retaining of recruiters in the city with induction and orientation along with the training and development coordinator.

Monitoring - Ensure regular DCR, Closer report, weekly, monthly and observation reports. Close monitoring, mentoring them and providing them with adequate guidance, focus.

Creating face to face acquisition opportunities within and outside the city; secure permissions, ensure local offices meet statutory need; troubleshoot; conflict management. To ensure confidentiality of information.

Be with the team and ensure all logistic need during outstation permission.

Take initiative to take corrective action when fundraising results are not as per plans with the support of the HOD.

Overall responsible for city target both one time and regular giving

Plan and lead interactive and informative team meetings on citys performance, individual performance, talk about data analysis of the city to the core team and aim at the ROI for the city.

Responsible for being the first point of contact in case of any emergency situation in the city.

Any other responsibility as assigned by the Management (India).

Ensure all onetime donation/regular details is capture properly by the telecaller/F2F people and passed to the HOD.

Skills and Requirements

  • Track record of delivering successful telecalling and F2F programs.
  • Practical understanding of telecalling and F2F fundraising techniques.
  • Strong leadership, managerial and coordination skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and to take a leadership role
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi and local languages.
  • Cultural sensitivity the ability to work effectively cross culturally and adapt communications style as needed to foster collaboration.
  • Excellent experience in managing and analyzing data

Must have atleast 5 years of experience in handling telecalling and F2F team both one time and regular giving. Preference would given to the candidate who already have an existing team with him to join on an immediate basis.

2. F2F Fundraising executives

F2F Fundraising executives will be responsible for recruiting new donor through personal, face-to-face interactions based on various campaigns launched by the organisation. They will be expected to talk with individual prospects with integrity and conviction and uphold our standards in regard to principles and policies. F2F Fundraising executives work with and report to the F2F Team Leader.

Job Purpose

Don Bosco Network seeks to establish a supporter base of individual members across India who would fund our work. Our goal is to ensure that a bulk of our donors come from direct dialogue through various face-to-face programs such as residential canvassing, street fundraising, and local events, permission and door to door. Through these contributions from individuals, we will support of work towards children, youth and Women

F2F Fundraising executives will be responsible for recruiting new members through personal, face-to-face interactions based on various campaigns launched by the organisation. They will be expected to talk with individual prospects with integrity and conviction and uphold our standards in regard to principles and policies. F2F Fundraising executives work with and report to the F2F Team Leader.

Job Responsibilities

  • Recruiting new donors in the streets and other locations as identified by the organisation.
  • Documenting and reporting results to the line manager.
  • Stay updated with all information/training, work guidelines, principles, policies & campaigns.
  • Responsible for handling materials /forms & providing daily reports to the Team Leader.
  • Achieving the set donors & income budgets every month.
  • To ensure confidentiality of information
  • Any other responsibility as assigned by the teal leader.

  • Preferred- track record of successfully delivering F2F individual targets or sales.
  • Practical understanding of F2F fundraising techniques.

  • Cultural and other sensitivities the ability to talk to strangers without being invasive; adapt communications style from person to person.
  • Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi and local languages- Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi and Telugu).




3. Tell caller

Job Responsibilities

  • Making Outbound call for Generating donation & new leads.
  • Setting up e-appointment with donor to explain Don Bosco work and donation process.
  • Help the donor complete the online donation process.
  • Ensure the monthly targets are met on a regular basis.
  • Regular update and information sharing for efficient operation
  • Engage the person in Peer to Peer fundraising.
  • Any other jobs as assigned by the management.

Basic Requirement

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of consistent performance record as a tele caller in fundraising or in the sales marketing.
  • Practical understanding of tele calling fundraising techniques
  • Technologically savvy.
  • Moderate speed typing and basic computer skills
  • Familiarity in working with automated dialler systems
  • Cultural and other sensitivities the ability to provide information verbally clearly and effectively
  • Good communication skills in English and any one vernaculars (Hindi & Bengali).
  • Excellent telephoneetiquette, negotiation and convincing skills
  • Adaptability for different environments.
  • Having working knowledge on excel




4. Individual Partnership Relationship officer

  • Reactivation and up gradation calls for both One time and Regular giving of the existing donor.
  • Relationships build up calls with donors.
  • Insufficient balance call.
  • HNI meeting fix up calls.
  • Handling cancellation calls.
  • Other types of call( Birthday wish, relationship buildup call etc)
  • Maintaining donors by giving latest updates through emailing process.
  • Data entry If required
  • Handling donor queries through calls /emails.
  • Providing receipts to the donor (if they asked)
  • Convincing the donors to maintain a minimum balance every month and continue their long term support
  • Support the Donor Relation-Manager to generate MIS.
  • Successfully handle Individual partnership online/offline vendor and other coordination work.
  • Any other Job as assigned by the management

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year of consistent performance record as a tele caller in fundraising or in the sales marketing.
  • Must have sales acumen
  • Practical understanding of tele calling fundraising techniques
  • Technologically savvy.
  • Good understanding of Fundraising software
  • Moderate speed typing and basic computer skills
  • Familiarity in working with automated dialer systems
  • Cultural and other sensitivities the ability to provide information verbally clearly and effectively
  • Good communication skills in English and any Hindi.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, negotiation and convincing skills
  • Information and data management in a computerized environment
  • Adaptability for different environments
  • Able to write telecalling scripts.
