Job Description
Experienced project manager with software engineering background to lead various projects and initiatives within the Cloud Operations team. Should have excellent communication skills working with cross functional teams to ensure business outcomes of projects are accomplished within schedule, scope.
Responsibilities
- Helps define process improvements, streamline tasks for various initiatives
- Maintain documentation and identify, escalate and mitigate project risks
- Create, maintain and disseminate project information and regular status to stakeholders. Provide technical status on high-profile issues when they are identified.
- Stand-up/Lead Project meetings to identify project risks and issues and communicate them to the leadership team.
- Ensure schedules conform to milestones and coordinate changes to schedules when milestones change.
Key qualifications:
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent. An MBA degree desirable.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management
- Technical awareness to run complex projects and leadership to deliver high quality deliverables.
- Strong focus to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven partnering skills with other departments.
- Should possess strong analytical skills and be proactive and process driven to ensure projects and initiatives are driven to completion.
- Knowledge of project management tools for project plans and knowledge of JIRA desirable.
- Understanding of Cloud environments and related technologies is desirable.
