Job Description

• Roles & Responsibility:

• New Vendor Development.
• New Proto Part Development
• Fixture & Jigs Development
• Proto Part Inspection & Design Clearance.
• Participation in alternate sourcing with buyer and SCM team.
• RFQ preparations, possible vendor selection, Vendor capacity and Capability analysis.
• Technical discussions, Comparisons followed by commercial discussions, Negotiations and Vendor
• New part development or any ECN change development (SOR to SOP) and coordination with engineering.
• Technical discussions with supplier.
• Deft knowledge of GD & T
• Defining the timeline for dies and tool development and fitment trial of fixtures.
• Synchronizing with the Production/ QC team for taking trials for new development parts, checking
• feasibility & setting standard for the same.
• Working on process and quality improvement with cost reduction.
• Vendor negotiation.
• Vendor Audit as when required.
• Having a good knowledge about SAP / ERP
