Job Description
Greetings,NSMX is looking for highly motivated individuals to fill our SPSS Data Specialist/ Data Analyst /Sr. Data Analyst position.
Job Title : SPSS Data Specialist
Experience : 2-6 Years
Start Date : ASAP
Location : Pitampura, New Delhi
Compensation : No bar for industry experts.
Industry Type : KPO / Research /Analytics
Functional Area : ITES/KPO, Operations.
Working Hours/Shift : Will be decided by the management.
Should be flexible for night shifts too.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Registered In India and provides consulting, IT Enabled Support services which encompasses Infrastructures Support Services, Project Management, Data collection, Sampling, Fieldwork management, Survey Programming, Data Processing And Tabulation Services to our International Clients.
Key responsibilities:
a) Data checking
Check data logics
Make sure label and quota are correct
Representation and manipulation of data
b) Data conversion
Liaising with clients to determine their specific data requirements, i.e. recode data, merge data file, etc.
Convert data to various formats (Excel, ASCII, SPSS and etc.) per clients request Tabulation
Liaise with offshore tab team for tabulation requests
SPSS Syntax to convert the data
Excel Macros
c) Coding of open end data
d) SPSS and Syntax, Data cleaning & processing
e) Representation and manipulation of data
f) Involvement in Project Management to understand GMI services, project cycles and systems how they integrate and relate to the final Data delivered.
g) Liaising with offshore support resources in Data Processing
h) Support training in regards to Data Processing where necessary.
About the Candidate & role requirements:
Minimum of two years experience in Data Processing for a Market Research organisation
Experience in working with SPSS (including basic syntax knowledge), Excel (including basic macro skills), Quantum or comparable statistical package
Efficient in basic mathematics and programming logic
Self starter, attention to detail and strong work ethic
Well organised, ability to multi tasks
Good verbal, written communication and active listening skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to solve problems independently
Ability to learn and apply learning to new situations
Desirable requirements
Experience in working with SPSS or Quantum or Wincross, comparable statistical package
Data analysis, charting skills and Tabulation.
