Job Description

We are looking for Junior Database Admin with 2-4 Years of experience with hands on experience in Oracle in production environment . Interested can reach out to ra***************y@ne**********l.com

The Role: As a Junior DBA, you will be responsible to maintain an Oracle DBA in cloud server and oracle security management and physical database design to create a reliable and efficient database systems.

The roles key objectives include:

• Experience in evaluating Amazon cloud resources and handling Amazon and Oracle services in Amazon web services
• Should have hands on experience in Oracle in production environment.
• Should have Amazon RDS or Similar Experience (Oracle Standard One)
• Strong in Client-Side Engagements, Team Monitoring, Team KPI and Team Productivity Reporting to Management

You will need to have:

• 2+ years of experience in Database Tuning (Explain Plan, Auto Trace and Stats pack)
• Should be well versed in Oracle Database Capacity Planning and forecast requirements proactively
• Understanding and knowledge in MySQL Experience (5.0) AND Installation, Configuration and Setup of production Oracle database 11g
• Managing Privileges, Roles, Users, Grants
• Maintaining standby database (Setup, Configuration & running - Active Data guard Oracle) Database - Migration & Upgrade (applying Patches)
• Should have Windows and Linux - Scripting (Batch / Shell scripts)
• Experience in Database - Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting
• Must have experience in checking the OS & DB Log files and take appropriate action
• Backup, Recovery and strategies for migration of data
• To Prepare Scripts for deployment in UAT, Development and Production Environment

Additional Skillsets

• Experience in Managing AWS RDS Services
• Mirroring, Managing Snapshots and its life cycle
• Experience managing multiple datasets and schemas across the organization on various platforms
