Job Description: Managing and supporting of the IT infrastructure of Newage Group, including hardware, software, desktop and shared infrastructure, voice & data networks (LAN/WAN), servers, mobile and fixed telephony. Ensuring all components are maintained and work reliably to meet Newage requirements. Promoting the effective use of new and existing technology. Expanding network including the provisioning of networking facilities for operational technology including wired or wireless provision, etc. Providing secure networking solutions for new build extensions and relocation of business functions including service desks, office relocations, construction and development moves and changes. Delivering a high quality and consistent service to our internal and external stakeholders and partners across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and monitor existing infrastructure, perform preventative maintenance work, backup and perform other regular support activities to ensure effectiveness and to provide cover on such tasks when required.
- Planning, managing and implementing infrastructure projects and upgrades to meet company goals.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and support agencies for the ongoing support and maintenance of relevant hardware and software.
- Ensuring all work and changes are performed in such a way as to minimize all disruption to existing business use.
- Assisting in keeping track of the infrastructure assets and ensure that the infrastructure and data is kept secure at all times.
- Guiding junior infrastructure / Administrators from Various location staff.
- Maintaining appropriate records of time spent, actions taken and item status to facilitate management, future problem resolution and to keep users informed of progress.
- Ensuring that technology is used, managed and supported in accordance with Freight Systems standards, policies and procedures.
- Working alongside colleagues within the IT Department on support, development and project work where directed.
- Undertake additional duties as required by the NewAge Management.
- Ensuring exceptions identified during penetration testing, vulnerability scans, audits and regulatory reviews are addressed in a timely manner.
- Implementing measures to address identified IT security incidents and avoid recurrence.
- Ensuring systems and processes have adequate disaster recovery measures and comply with the Disaster Recovery Policy.
- Ensuring access logs are periodically reviewed and identified security breaches are followed up and remediated.
- Ensuring production data is periodically backed up and kept safely.
- Periodically review the design and operating effectiveness of IT security controls across systems within the IT portfolio.
- Ensuring changes to production systems (Hardware) are adequately tested and approved prior to go-live.
- Ensuring adequate IT security controls are built into file transfer interfaces for systems within the IT portfolio.
- Develop and oversee Network Operations, Service Desk, Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management and Change Management Processes for all Cloud Services.
- Ensure successful Archive Customer Data in a secure manner.
- Enhance Security policies, planning and procedures for Cloud Services.
- Implement System Management Tools to provide monitoring and management of all Cloud infrastructure.
- Implement Security policy, monitoring, guidelines for Cloud Services.
- Conduct System Outage Analysis to prevent the reoccurrence of incidents.
- Provide support for the network (LAN, WAN, VPN), server and database infrastructure including configuring and upgrading hardware, installing software and performing system administration
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelors/Masters degree
- 12+ years of IT Infra experience
- Hands on experience in Managing AWS Cloud
- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken English / Presentation/Documentation)
- Familiarization of Digital Technologies
- Good team player (capacity to work in a worldwide, distributed team)
