Architect - Hyderabad / Secunderabad @ Microsoft

Responsibilities

The Lead Architect is responsible for Technical Thought Leadership and Architectural quality of portfolio of products:

• Defining practices and ensuring high-level product specifications, architecture, and design documents, capturing all the architecturally significant critical decisions with detailed pros and cons.
• Architecting highly scalable and reliable cloud solutions by mapping business problems to end-to-end technology solutions.
• Provide architectural blueprints and technical leadership to the team.
• Lead evaluation and recommend of technologies, products, and processes to ensure highest quality product platform outcome.
• Ability to move perform architecture, design review, and provide specific recommendations to the engineering teams.
• Ensure all the Architectural Principles and Design Patterns are followed consistently across the solution
• Ensure teams are consistently using appropriate engineering practices, delivery-management methodologies, processes, and tools and bringing to bear the knowledge of the ecosystem into the requirements, engineering and operations.
• Demonstrable capabilities in articulating the business value that can be achieved through technology.
• Review Business Requirements, Design Documents, NFR Requirements, Test Strategy Document, CI/CD process, etc. and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Be on top of latest technology trends and use them to develop products meeting the business needs and driving future strategies.
• Build stakeholder connects and forge deep relationships with domain CTO Organization and technical Community.

• At least 15 years of engineering experience with a good understanding of Microsoft engineering tools, practices and processes
• Proven capability driving technical thought across a portfolio of products/applications to meet the business outcomes.
• Good understanding of the Microsoft Services eco-system with knowledge of the methods, processes and tools.
• A proven ability to play a key role in partnering with other roles across the organization to deliver business results
• Ability to encourage teamwork and collaboration through effectively managing change.
• Ability to translate business requirement into technology solutions, architect solutions and driving engineering to deliver business value.
• Demonstrate expertise in cross-cultural communication and openness in interactions with diverse cultural groups
• Problem solving and escalation management, Innovation and leadership and Executive Maturity
• Strong People Management ability supporting Microsoft values.
